Saw this in the latest American Hunter magazine
In short, the National Park Service is considering a proposal which would have National Parks and other federal lands permit CCW license holders to carry in a National Park, if the state permits it. Currently many national parks prohibit any sort of weapon in the park. This is a huge deal because if you get attacked by a grizzly while camping in Yellowstone, you legally cannot have a gun to protect yourself. The new proposal basically trys to make National Park firearms regulations consistant with the state that the park resides in.
